netspeed:Network speed applet

At times i like to check how much upload and download am i consuming, ofcourse there are great tools for that but i am too lazy to press any key. I need a tool that would sit in my gnome panels. Such an applet is netspeed
You can install it by:

apt-get install netspeed

and then add it to panel like any other application e.g. right click on panel, click Add to Panel, scroll down and select netspeed.
